Love

Day 29 of 365 days of photos

I was out for Valentines day and didn't get this posted but I hope you enjoy it anyway. Happy Valentines Day everyone! We enjoyed a nice dinner and a movie. My husband brought my a wonderful bouquet of roses and my favortie York mints.

Lilly

Day 28 of 365 days of photos

The other day I took a picture of this sweet little dog. You have to watch out for her in the snow, poor thing needs a path blazed. She is so tiny you could fit her in your purse and she loves to give you kisses. Love this little girl.

Self Portrait

Day 27 of 365 days of photos

I thought I would try a self portrait. I really loved this room with the lighting. I forgot my remote and had to set up a self timer...that was fun! Kind of different taking a picture of yourself when you aren't looking through the lens.

Cornish Rex

Day 26 of 365 days of photos

This is a Cornish Rex Cat, and he loves to drink from the faucet.
As the name suggests, they come from Cornwall in England. As a matter of fact, the Cornish Rex cats are a genetic mutation that originated from a litter of cats that was born in a barn in Cornwall. The male offspring was bred with the mother to produce two more kittens and the male amongst these two kittens was bred with a Siamese cat. The offspring of this pair are the foundation of this breed. Just a bit of history of this soft sweet cat.

Superbowl

Day 25 of 365 days of photos

On Superbowl Sunday it was my Dad's 71st Birthday so I thought it would be fun to have a superbowl / Birthday party for him. We had a great time with family and had cherry pie (my dad would rather have pie than cake). And of course the team we were cheering for won! What a great game, I really loved all the new commercials...my favorite was the little kid in the Darth Vader costume.

Laugh

Day 24 of 365 days of photos

Sorry for the big break in sharing photos with you, I had a lot of things going on....busy, busy, busy. I will be posting a few photos today to try to get caught up.
I was sitting out in my sunroom and one of my plants has this tag in it and it was just one of those days you just had to laugh :0)  Always remember to do that even if it is at yourself.

Milo

Day 23 of 365 days of photos

My Cat Milo, loves it when the sun comes out so that he can lay out in his favorite room and keep warm in the sun. He can be a little devil sometimes and then the most sweetest cat a lot of the time :)

Frost

I woke up again to beautiful blue skies and frost covering everything. It is so beautiful as well as a very cold morning. I thought that is looked so pretty sparkling on the trees.

2011 Blizzard

Day 21 of 365 days of photos

Sorry for the long time in between posts, but I am back to it. I just had to share these photos of our Michigan 2011 Blizzard, I still think the 78' blizzard was the worst and best! This is our driveway as my husband is working on removing the 17 1/2 inches from it.

Patch MacGregor

Day 20 of 365 days of photos

I didn't take this photo today, but pulled it from one month ago. This is my Sweet Scottie Dog who we had to put down today. He battled bladder cancer for over a year. So I had to share this picture of him, in loving memory of Patch MacGregor, who loved to give us smiles when we walked in the door and at times would try to bury his bones on our couch for safe keeping for later. Patch you will be truly missed!!!

WoodPeckers

Day 19 of 365 days of photos

Here are a few more of the winter birds that I see around. I am not sure yet what kind they are but I sure love their markings.

Sundog

Day 18 of 365 days of photos

I am a couple of days off of posting this, but here is my 18th picture. The sky was so pretty with the clouds and sun but the really cold weather and the moisture in the sky was creating these beautiful colors around the sun in the clouds, so I just had to get a shot of this.

'G'

Day 17 of 365 days of photos

This is my son's and mostly my dog. He loves to play catch and when there isn't a ball around will revert to sticks. He has endless energy when it comes to playing ball. But look at those brown eyes, he just speaks to you with them, so I had to go out and play with him for a bit today.

Make a Wish

Day 16 of 365 days of photos

I have this in my Kitchen window so I thought...Why not take a picture of it and see what your wish is. Go ahead and post it in the comments section below.

I started a fire in the fireplace tonight and was watching the flames and was intregued by the different light patterns and colors. So I thought that I would take a picture of it and share it with you.

Murphy

Day 14 of 365 days of photos

This is Murphy, one of my clients dogs. He is still a pup, full of energy and very inquisitive....he loves to give kisses and hates rattling coins in a bottle or a squirt bottle of water. He sure is a sweet dog!

Forgotten

Picture 13 of 365 days of photos

This is a really cool barn that we drove by today. What a shame that it has been left to fall apart and in such disarray. Oh what treasures that are out there. There is just something intriguing about barns!

Covered Bridge

Photo number 12 of 365

Drove over to Fallasburg Park to check out the scenery. I really love this old covered bridge, built in 1871.  Completed at a cost of $1500, Fallasburg Bridge stretches 100 feet long and stands 14 feet wide and 12 feet high. Its lattice-work trusses are made of white pine timbers from nearby Greenville. This bridge is great to photograph in all seasons!

Glass

Day 10 of 365 days of photos

Sometime we don't always look at the details of items sitting around, these beautiful glass balls were just waiting for me to get a shot of them. I love the color combination and the texture!
