Day 20 of 365 days of photos
I didn't take this photo today, but pulled it from one month ago. This is my Sweet Scottie Dog who we had to put down today. He battled bladder cancer for over a year. So I had to share this picture of him, in loving memory of Patch MacGregor, who loved to give us smiles when we walked in the door and at times would try to bury his bones on our couch for safe keeping for later. Patch you will be truly missed!!!

WoodPeckers
Day 19 of 365 days of photos
Here are a few more of the winter birds that I see around. I am not sure yet what kind they are but I sure love their markings.

Sundog
Day 18 of 365 days of photos
I am a couple of days off of posting this, but here is my 18th picture. The sky was so pretty with the clouds and sun but the really cold weather and the moisture in the sky was creating these beautiful colors around the sun in the clouds, so I just had to get a shot of this.

'G'
Day 17 of 365 days of photos
This is my son's and mostly my dog. He loves to play catch and when there isn't a ball around will revert to sticks. He has endless energy when it comes to playing ball. But look at those brown eyes, he just speaks to you with them, so I had to go out and play with him for a bit today.

Day 16 of 365 days of photos
I have this in my Kitchen window so I thought...Why not take a picture of it and see what your wish is. Go ahead and post it in the comments section below.

Murphy
Day 14 of 365 days of photos
This is Murphy, one of my clients dogs. He is still a pup, full of energy and very inquisitive....he loves to give kisses and hates rattling coins in a bottle or a squirt bottle of water. He sure is a sweet dog!

Forgotten
Picture 13 of 365 days of photos
This is a really cool barn that we drove by today. What a shame that it has been left to fall apart and in such disarray. Oh what treasures that are out there. There is just something intriguing about barns!

Covered Bridge
Photo number 12 of 365
Drove over to Fallasburg Park to check out the scenery. I really love this old covered bridge, built in 1871. Completed at a cost of $1500, Fallasburg Bridge stretches 100 feet long and stands 14 feet wide and 12 feet high. Its lattice-work trusses are made of white pine timbers from nearby Greenville. This bridge is great to photograph in all seasons!

Glass
Day 10 of 365 days of photos
Sometime we don't always look at the details of items sitting around, these beautiful glass balls were just waiting for me to get a shot of them. I love the color combination and the texture!

Ralph
Photo 9 of 365 days of photos
I thought this squirrel was interesting to watch, and of course I had to give him a name....Ralph. Did you know squirrel, which means shadow-tailed, referring to the bushy tail. Squirrels' diet consists primarily of a wide variety of plant food, including nuts, seeds, conifer cones, fruits, fungi and green vegitation. That is why they love the bird feeders!

Tufted Titmouse
Day 8 of 365 days of photos
I just love to watch birds and there is just something more striking about them in winter. This is a Tufted Titmouse, (who came up with that name).

Holly
Day 6 of 365 days of photos
woke up this morning to frost laden trees, and then the sun started coming up....
Beautiful sparkles everywhere! I couldn't resist grabbing my camera and going out in the yard to capture a picture of our frost covered Holy plant.

Brownie
Day 5 of 365 days of photos
My very first camera that my mom let me use when I went to six grade camp. It had belonged to her and she didn't have anything else to let me use so this was it. I even had bulbs for it, how cools is that.

Abandoned
Day 1 of 365 days of photos
I saw this old broken down chair by the road and wondered just who had sat in this chair through the years. Had it belonged in a kitchen that was warm with the smell of baking bread at one time....Well here it sat along the road, left out in the newly fallen snow.

90th Birthday
My Grandma turned 90 today,
she has Alzheimers which is so hard to see your loved one have.
I think it is amazing that she only has a few gray hair. I did enjoy visiting with her today this first day of 2011. She is like a little kid and really enjoyed her cake! I love you Grandma!
